Tip For You: Adding shadow to a vector object

1. Click the object with the Pick tool

2. Go to Selections menu and choose "From Vector Object"

3. Add a new raster layer

4. (it is a good idea to contract the selection by 1 pixel to make a neat shadow)

5. From 3D effects choose Drop Shadow and tick the box for Shadow on new layer.

6. Drag the shadow layer under the vector layer and delete the raster layer
