Getting rid of objects in a photo

Photo Coloring, two different ways

First from Fran:

Select around each area and promote each selection to a layer. For example.... face, hair, clothes, etc...

When you are happy with what you have done on each selection, merge all and use the smudge brush to soften the joins.

In a nutshell:

Work on raster layers

Before adding colour to lips etc. change the layer mode to Color (Legacy).

Add a layer for each new colour, mode Color (Legacy).

Paint brush or Airbrush - Lower opacity of colour and change brush size.

An easy way to "Promote selection to layer"

Make your selection, click on the pick tool and click in the middle of the selection.
